TTX Company Announces Senior Level Appointments

CHICAGO – TTX Company President and CEO Andrew F. Reardon announced the appointments of Thomas F. Wells to Executive Vice President and Patrick J. Casey to Vice President Fleet Management.In addition to his current duties, Wells will direct Strategic Planning as well as Strategy and Marketing for the Railcar Maintenance and Technology areas of TTX, the largest private railcar fleet in North America.

Wells joined TTX in 2001 as Senior Vice President, Fleet Management. He brings over 20 years of industry experience, including 17 years with Norfolk Southern Railway’s Supply Management, Sales and Marketing, Operations and intermodal departments.

A graduate of Muskingum College, Wells went on to obtain an MBA from Miami University of Ohio.

Casey began his career with CSX Transportation where he served for 17 years, ten of which were spent with CSXI. He joined TTX in 2000 as Director, Business Forecasting and Planning, and he was promoted to Assistant Vice President in 2005.

Owned by North America’s largest railroads, TTX owns and operates the largest private car line in North America, with a pool of over 212,000 intermodal, automotive and other general use freight cars for the rail industry. TTX’s equipment is available for use by any rail carrier at a daily rental charge. Headquartered in Chicago, TTX employs over 1,600 people.
