Tickets Go on Sale for Atlantic City Express Service

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. — The Atlantic City Express Service (ACES), offering the only direct train service between New York City and Atlantic City, announced that tickets are now available for weekend departures via www.acestrain.com or www.amtrak.com.

Introductory ticket prices will start at $50 for a one-way coach seat and $75 for a one-way first class seat. Customers may also book the train’s lounge for four passengers with prices starting at $400. The ACES train will officially launch on Feb. 6.

“We are excited to open ticketing to the public and welcome those eager to try this new option connecting two great cities,” said Dan Nita, SVP and General Manager of Caesars Atlantic City. “We see ACES as an investment in Atlantic City’s continued growth by making it even easier for New Yorkers to get to explore all the great things our city has to offer.”

Complimentary shuttles between the Atlantic City Rail Terminal and the joint venture properties behind the train service — Caesars Atlantic City, Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City and Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa — will be available to passengers upon arrival as will return service for those passengers who book roundtrip tickets.

“Our goal is to provide our customers with comfort and convenience as they travel to A.C.,” said Dave Coskey, VP of Marketing of Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa. “It’s another reason we encourage customers to book roundtrip tickets when planning their weekends: It allows them to come and go hassle-free.”

With only one stop in Newark, the two-and-a-half hour ACES trip will offer passengers upgraded leather seating, and both first and coach class travel experiences as well as a private lounge. First-class seating is found on the upper deck of the train. The ACES train will make nine round trips throughout the weekend, offering 300 seats on each train.
