Southern Museum to Celebrate Trains During Two-day Event

KENNESAW, Ga. — The Southern Museum of Civil War & Locomotive History will host the seventh annual installment of its venerable Trains, Trains, Trains event.

The event is scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 28, and Sunday, Jan. 29. The family-friendly event will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days.

This year’s event will feature several new and expanded train layouts. Modular modelers from around the Southeast will join forces to create some of the biggest layouts at Trains, Trains, Trains. Athens Bend Track is teaming up with South Carolina Bend Track to fill the Gallery with a detailed layout.

In addition to the layouts, Trains, Trains, Trains will feature bluegrass musicians, an expanded General Emporium gift shop with new shirts and toys and several interactive layouts for kids of all ages to enjoy.

Museum admission for the event is $7.50 for adults, $6.50 for seniors, $5.50 for children ages 4-12, and free for children three and under as well as Museum members.
