Railfanning in Camarillo, Calif.
CAMARILLO, Calif. – The Southern Pacific Railroad built its main line through town in 1904.
The railroad was a boon for the city and many businesses that were located in the nearby city of Springville to relocate to Camarillo. When the businesses relocated to the Ventura Boulevard area of town, they established what is today known as Old Town Camarillo.
