Central Vermont Railway No. 705 sits idle in White River Junction, Vt., on Aug. 6, 1933. The locomotive was one of 10 2-10-4 steam engines built in 1928 by Schenectady for Central Vermont. The 10 engines were scrapped between 1954 and 1959.

Central Vermont Railway No. 507 sits idle in White River Junction, Vt., on Aug. 6, 1933. The locomotive was one of eight 0-8-0 steam engines built in 1923 by Schenectady for Central Vermont. Four of the eight engines were shipped to Canadian National in 1942.
