A newly formed Senate Select Committee will probe the “continuing failures of the troubled” N.J. Transit.

The committee will develop an action plan to improve service.

“New Jersey Transit’s continuing struggles during the Murphy Administration have left commuters with unacceptably poor service,” Senate Republican Leader Tom Kean, R-Union, said in a news release. “Senate Republicans are committed to working to develop solutions to give rail-riding New Jerseyans the reliability they need and deserve every single day.”
