Saratoga Railroad Wants to Abandon 23.71-Mile Rail Line in Wyoming

Saratoga Railroad, LLC, is seeking to abandon a roughly 23.71-mile rail line in Wyoming.

The line is between milepost 0.57, near Walcott and milepost 24.28, at Saratoga in Carbon County, Wyoming.

The railroad said no local traffic has moved over the line for at least two years, and any overhead traffic on the line can be rerouted over other lines. Additionally, no formal complaint filed by a user of rail service on the line regarding cessation of service is pending with either the Surface Transportation Board or any U.S. District Court or has been decided in favor of a complainant within the past two years.
