Union Pacific Proudly Gives More than $4 Million to 430 Local Nonprofit Organizations

Union Pacific Railroad has distributed more than $4 million in local grants to 430 nonprofit organizations through its Community Ties Giving Program.

The awards reinforce Union Pacific’s commitment to building strong, safe and sustainable communities across its 23-state network.

Grants ranging from $5,000 to $30,000 will support initiatives aligned with Union Pacific’s giving priorities: safety, workforce development, community vitality and environmental sustainability. From youth development and job training to public safety and environmental stewardship, the funded projects will directly benefit millions of people in the towns and cities where Union Pacific employees live and work.
