ATLANTA – The Metropolitan Rapid Transit Authority said it will implement an inclement weather service plan in anticipation of severe weather in the metro Atlanta area beginning Saturday, Jan. 24.

With the forecasted freezing rain, sleet, and low temperatures this weekend, MARTA will continue on a reduced service plan to the extent feasible, while ensuring the safety of customers and employees. Service will be reduced further and may be suspended if conditions worsen. As of now, the service plan detailed below will remain in place for Sunday, Jan. 25.

Any changes due to deteriorating weather conditions will be shared immediately on all MARTA customer-facing platforms, and with stakeholders, transit partners, and the media via email and phone.
