Railfanning.org Publisher and Editor Todd DeFeo plans to publish a new book this year chronicling often-overlooked stories of the Western & Atlantic Railroad.
Tentatively titled “People & Places of the Western & Atlantic,” the book delves deep into the stories of people who worked on the Georgia-owned railroad and some of the places past and present often associated with the railroad. It will mark DeFeo’s third book on the railroad.
DeFeo is a highly sought-after railroad historian whose presentations are noted for personal accounts, including both heroic and tragic stories. He has led well-received tours of the railroad for an Atlanta-area museum.
