Amtrak’s new Mardi Gras Service is set to return in August, marking the long-anticipated return of passenger rail service to the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

Amtrak Virginia set another ridership record during the month of April. With 129,670 passengers traveling, it was the highest ridership recorded for April since the state launched its service in 2009.
