After receiving federal money to expand passenger rail across Pennsylvania, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation is taking the next step in making the Scranton to New York Penn Station Passenger Rail Corridor project happen.

Customers are advised to monitor for potential service disruptions, detours or suspensions on Sunday, Jan. 19 and Monday, Jan. 20.

Dallas Area Rapid Transit is nearing completion of the new Silver Line and preparing to open the 26-mile regional rail project to passengers for revenue service between the end of the year and early 2026.
