ATLANTA — The much-anticipated Atlanta streetcar is set to open on Tuesday, Dec. 30, according to a number of media reports. According to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the streetcars will operate for free for the first three months. The cost to ride on the 2.7-mile system will increase to $1 after the free period, the newspaper reported.
