Amtrak Envisions World Class High-Speed Rail
A Next-Generation High-Speed Rail service could be successfully developed in the Northeast with trains operating up to 220 mph on a new two-track corridor resulting in a trip time of about three hours between Washington and Boston cutting in half or better the current schedules, according to a concept plan released by Amtrak.

MONTREAL — CN, the Prince Rupert Port Authority (PRPA) and Maher Terminals Holding Corp. announced a Level of Service Agreement to promote and better measure improvements in port performance and to enhance Prince Rupert’s role as a preferred gateway on the west coast for Central Canada and U.S. Midwest markets.
