Railfanning Rahway in the Rain

RAHWAY, N.J. — It was a cold and wet January day when I stepped off the train in Rahway.

It was not the best day for railfanning, but I was determined to enjoy a little action. As long as there was some semblance of a roof over my head.

I selected Rahway. No reason in particular, but I thought the six tracks that pass through the station might work well.

Hardly my best photos, but it was still a couple of hours watching trains. That beats a lot of other options.
