Southeastern Railway Museum Hosting Fifth Annual Photo Competition

DULUTH, Ga. — The Southeastern Railway Museum’s fifth annual photo competition runs from Feb. 2 until Feb. 24.

To enter, photographers must submit a photo taken at the museum and in both digital and print format.

The museum will exhibit entries during March and will announce competition winners during an April 7 ceremony coinciding with the first day of the museum’s Caboose Days event.

Regular museum tickets include admission to the exhibition, and attendees are encouraged to vote for a “People’s Choice” winner. The two winners will be named guest Photographers-In-Residence and invited to return to the museum for an exclusive photo shoot.

Entrants should include a model release with their submission if anyone in the photo is recognizable. For complete rules, and to enter, please register online at

Entry fees are $15 for up to five photo submissions. Students with a valid identification receive a $5 discount using the “student2018” coupon code.

Proceeds will benefit the museum’s education and conservation programs. For more information and complete competition details, visit
