A person was struck by a train at the Kingsland Train Station in New Zealand, police said in a news release.
Kingsland is located in the Auckland region between the Auckland Central Business District and Mount Albert.
Police and emergency services were called to the station on New North Road at about 3.15 p.m. today local time. One person was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
Train services are currently suspended in the area while police remain at the scene.
