The Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority will conduct track replacement work near the Airport rail station.
Track replacement work is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. on several days between Wednesday, Oct. 3, and Friday, Nov. 3.
Customers traveling on the Red and Gold Lines during work times may experience delays and should allot an extra 10-15 minutes to reach their destination. Customers traveling from the airport to Buckhead, Medical Center, Dunwoody, Sandy Springs, or North Springs Stations after 8:30 p.m. must transfer to the Red Line at Lindbergh Center Station.
MARTA is investing approximately $225 million in State of Good Repair work on its heavy rail lines. The Track Replacement Program is a multi-year effort to replace tracks and switches throughout the rail system.
