After Arriving in Edinburgh by Train

EDINBURGH, Scotland — It may be shocking, but I love to take a train whenever I travel, and the train from London to Edinburgh is perhaps the best way to travel between the two cities.

Somebody the other day, in talking with me about my hobby, asked if we took trains as much as possible in addition to my never-ending studies of them. The answer is yes, with a caveat.

It’s easier to take trains for true transportation purposes in some places. Even in Europe, where some like to complain about the rail operations, trains remain a great way to travel from city to city.

Aside from the beautiful views, it’s a relaxing way to contemplate the world passing by the window. Plus, in first class, they also offer free drinks.
