
NEW YORK — New York police have arrested a 17-year-old woman on suspicion she and a second person took a New York subway train for a joyride.
According to police, at 12:08 a.m. on Sept. 12, at the Briarwood subway station in Queens, two people entered an unoccupied train and “operated it, causing a collision and damage,” police said. No injuries were reported as a result of this incident.
Police are still seeking a second suspect.
Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, a 17-year-old female has been arrested and charged in regard to this incident.
The other individual is still being sought.
