DART Headquarters Closed Due to Power Outage, Transit Services Unaffected

Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) has temporarily closed its headquarters at 1401 Pacific Avenue, including DARTmart and Lost & Found, due to a power outage. The closure will remain in effect until further notice as crews work to restore power to the facility.

Despite the outage, DART services, including buses, light rail, and GoLink, are operating as scheduled with no impact to riders. Customers in need of assistance can reach DART Customer Service at 214-979-1111 or visit DART.org for updates.

“Ensuring our customers have uninterrupted access to transit remains our top priority,” DART Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Operations Officer Benard Jackson said in a statement. “While our headquarters is temporarily closed, we have taken the necessary steps to maintain normal operations across our entire service network.”

DART will provide updates as more information becomes available. Riders are encouraged to check DART’s social media channels and website for real-time notifications.
