The Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) will resume the transformation project at Five Points Station with the detour of downtown bus routes this Saturday, May 17, and the closing of customer services such as the RideStore, Lost & Found, and Reduced Fare office on Friday, June 6.

During deconstruction, street-level station, elevator, and bus access will be maintained on Forsyth Street. Rail service and transfers are not impacted and will operate as scheduled.

MARTA is transforming Five Points Station into a vibrant city center with improved transit connectivity, increased safety, and enhanced customer amenities. The project’s first phase, the deconstruction of the concrete canopy, was paused last summer for additional planning to ensure continued station access.
