Israel Railways Amends Service Amid State of Emergency

Israel Railways has reduced rail operations amid the ongoing conflict between Israel and Iran and a state of emergency.

On its website, the rail company said it will operate one train every hour on all lines on Saturday evening except for the Bet Shemesh – Netanya, Rishon LeTsiyon HaRishonim – Lod, Jerusalem Yitzhak Navon – Modi’in lines.

Additionally, night trains to Ben Gurion Airport, Israel’s main international airport, will not operate. Some stations and some stations’ secondary entrances will be closed to service.

According to Israel Railways, stations closed to service are: Ahihud, Kiryat Haim, Hutsot HaMifrats, Atlit, Netanya Sapir, Yokne’am-Kfar Yehoshua, Migdal HaEmek-Kfar Baruch, Holon Junction, Bat Yam Komemiyut, Lod Ganei Aviv, Yavne Mizrahi, Be’er Yaakov, Rishon LeTsiyon HaRishonim, Ramla, Kiryat Malachi Yoav, Dimona, Ra’anana South, and Bet Shemesh.
