Polish regional operator Koleje Mazowieckie (Masovian Railways) and Stadler Polska have signed a contract for the delivery of 11 additional FLIRT electric multiple units, completing the operator’s largest-ever investment program.
Under the framework agreement, the operator will receive a total of 75 state-of-the-art trains. To date, 64 units have already been contracted. The new vehicles will improve passenger comfort across Masovia.
Beyond the delivery of the new units, the contract covers maintenance services, staff technical training, and repair packages.
The new vehicles will be manufactured at Stadler’s Siedlce plant.
