An Arizona man was arrested in Colorado after allegedly breaking into a Union Pacific locomotive and riding naked on top of the moving train, according to the Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities identified the man as Daniel Ray Ballance of Quartzsite, Arizona, KDVR-TV reported. The sheriff’s office said Ballance broke a locomotive window, entered the cab and sounded the horn before climbing onto the train.
Witnesses also reported seeing him naked atop the locomotive as it traveled through the county.
Ballance was arrested on felony and misdemeanor charges, though the sheriff’s office did not specify the counts. Authorities said he spoke about his fondness for vodka, beer and playing the banjo before being taken to jail.
