Overview
In 1901, the Nashville, Chattanooga & St. Louis Railway erected a monument of White Georgia Marble in Kennesaw, marking the start of the Great Locomotive Chase. A tablet mounted on the monument offers a brief retelling of the Chase and the names of the men who participated in the daring event.
