Overview
The Georgia Railway and Power Company chartered the Atlanta Interurban Railway Company to build an 18-mile-long interurban line between Atlanta and Marietta. Its incorporators were P. S. Arkwright, G. W. Brine, T. K. Glenn, W. H. Glenn, H. N. Hurt, S. E. Simmons, S. J. Bradley, R. E. Cullinanc, W. B. Stoval and F. M. Fisk. It had a capital of $100,000.
