Norfolk Southern Corp. today reported net income for the quarter was 23 percent lower than a year ago. Louisville & Indiana Railroad and CSX have reached an agreement giving CSX a permanent easement to operate over the L&I’s 106-mile rail corridor between Indianapolis and Louisville.
The Association of American Railroads (AAR) has awarded CSX and its wholly-owned subsidiary Total Service Distribution Inc.
