MONTREAL — CN said locomotive engineers and conductors who work on its rail lines in eastern Quebec and northeastern New Brunswick have ratified a new collective labour agreement.
NORFOLK, Va. — Norfolk Southern Corp. reported third-quarter 2010 net income of $445 million, an increase of 47 percent, compared with $303 million for third-quarter 2009. Diluted earnings per share were $1.19, up 47 percent, compared with $0.81 per share in the third quarter of 2009.

SANFORD, Fla. – A new Amtrak station is open near Orlando for the more than 244,000 annual Amtrak Auto Train passengers. At about 10,000 square feet, the station in Sanford seats 600 passengers and is about four times larger than its predecessor.
