The governors of New Jersey, New York and Connecticut reached an accord on splitting federal money for transit agencies doled out amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

NEW YORK – Amtrak work on its three Connecticut movable bridge projects remains on-schedule for completion. Two of the three federally-funded projects are on pace to be concluded sometime in 2013, with work to replace the railroad bridge over the Pattaganset River (Miamicock) in East Lyme scheduled to be completed next month.

NEW HAVEN, Conn. — American Recovery and Reinvestment Act funds are creating a safer and less congested route for New Haven area residents and commuters, Federal Highway Administrator Victor Mendez announced said in reviewing work on the Amtrak/ U.S. Route 1 Bridge project.
