New Jersey Sen. Troy Singleton will host a public meeting with NJ Transit President and CEO Kris Kolluri that will focus on River LINE service reliability, accountability, communication, and safety.

The New Jersey Senate Transportation Committee approved a bill that would impose a per-seat or per-flight tax on nonessential helicopter flights departing from or arriving at airports, heliports, and helistops licensed by the State, as well as a sales tax on these flights, and dedicate the revenue to NJ Transit.

NJ Transit is working with private developer DOR Woodbridge to overhaul Metropark Station as part of a broader mixed-use redevelopment.
