The Southeastern Railway Museum in Duluth, Ga., will host steam-powered trips at the museum on a pair of weekends this fall, marking the first time in roughly 15 years that steam trains have operated at the museum.
The museum will exhibit entries during March and will announce competition winners during an April 7 ceremony coinciding with the first day of the museum’s Caboose Days event.
The Southeastern Railway Museum is closing in on its fundraising goal for the museum’s largest expansion project since it moved to its current location roughly two decades ago.
