The Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation last week named an antebellum railroad depot in Northwest Georgia and nine other structures to its annual list of “Places in Peril.”

A bomb has exploded on a railroad track in southwestern Pakistan, killing at least five people and wounding 10 others. Officials said Monday’s blast, in the Naseerabad district of Baluchistan province, derailed a train.
