At least three people were killed and 100 injured when an N.J. Transit train crashed in Hoboken terminal around 8:30 a.m. today, according to NBCNewYork.com.

Pascack Valley Line train No. 1614 apparently crashed through a wall at the terminal, according to the New York Post. It is not immediately clear what might have caused the train to crash, though one source told NBCNewYork.com. it was either accidental or operator error.

“The front car is essentially off the rails … into the building of the station, with the roof sort of collapsed around it,” CNN quoted one passenger as saying.

Photos posted to Twitter appeared to show major damage to the station.
