The Rail Accident Investigation Branch has undertaken a preliminary examination into the circumstances surrounding a near miss between a passenger train and a van near Millbrook.

Once Greater Anglia’s services transfer to state control on Sunday, Oct. 12, half of Britain’s rail operators will be publicly owned, officials said.
