Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority

The Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) has received an AAA credit rating, the highest rating issued, from Standard & Poor’s (S&P) and Kroll Bond Rating Agency.

The Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) will suspend rail service on its Red Line south of Medical Center Station from Friday, Feb. 17 at 9 p.m. until the morning of Wednesday, Feb. 22 for track replacement work.

The Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority recently unveiled the first of its new railcars for its network. The $646 million cars are expected to start service in 2025.
