Recent local transit conversation has focused on the Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) Silver Line Regional Rail project and its ability to connect future passengers to Terminal B at DFW Airport once it opens for revenue service later next year or early 2026.

The current delay for passengers is about 30 minutes; please note this could increase due to rush hour traffic.

Residents in Plano and Richardson will soon be able to catch a glimpse of the new Silver Line trains in town with Dallas Area Rapid Transit set to begin testing Monday, July 21.

Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) and the North Texas Tollway Authority (NTTA) have agreed to close the Dallas North Tollway (DNT) between Belt Line and Keller Springs roads overnight from 10 p.m. Saturday, March 23, to 5 a.m. Sunday, March 24, to advance construction of the DART Silver Line Regional Rail Project.
