Residents in Plano and Richardson will soon be able to catch a glimpse of the new Silver Line trains in town with Dallas Area Rapid Transit set to begin testing Monday, July 21.

Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) and the North Texas Tollway Authority (NTTA) have agreed to close the Dallas North Tollway (DNT) between Belt Line and Keller Springs roads overnight from 10 p.m. Saturday, March 23, to 5 a.m. Sunday, March 24, to advance construction of the DART Silver Line Regional Rail Project.

The continued progress of the Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) Silver Line Regional Rail Project is bringing freight rail service back to the cities of Plano and Richardson beginning Sunday, March 3.

Trinity Railway Express (TRE) said it will soon stop at a new station in Fort Worth.

Construction of the Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) 12th Street Station in Plano will begin on Saturday, August 26.
