CN has recognized 11 of its intermodal customers for their sustainability practices that are aligned with the objectives of the CN EcoConnexions program. Under the CN EcoConnexions Partnership Program, participating companies work to reduce carbon emissions and increase energy efficiency – one of CN’s key sustainability objectives. The 11 winners under CN’s recognition program are: CMA-CGM, Cosco, Hapag Lloyd, Kruger Products, Maersk Line, MOL, Mondelẽz Canada, NYK, OOCL Canada, Target Canada and Walmart Canada. Florida East Coast Railway (FECR) is expanding its services to include intermodal rail transportation between Charlotte, North Carolina and a number of locations in South Florida. The company’s Piedmont Express service is available five days a week, utilizing FECR’s assets.
