SMYRNA, Ga. — Its location along the historic Western & Atlantic Railroad line makes Smyrna a great place for watching trains.
Like many other cities between Atlanta and Chattanooga, Tenn., the city owes much of its development to the railroad. Today, Smyrna is a popular suburb of Atlanta because of its close proximity to Buckhead Midtown and Downtown.
