Railfanning.org Adds Montvale, N.J., to Trackside Guide

MONTVALE, N.J. — Railfanning.org has published a new page to its Trackside Guide highlighting the railroad history in Montvale, N.J.

The new page — available at Railfanning.org/trackside/montvale/ — follows features on other New Jersey railfanning hotspots, including Metuchen, Morristown and Elizabeth.

The city of 8,500 is located along N.J. Transit’s Pascack Valley Line. The borough’s railroad history dates back roughly 150 years.

Railfanning.org, published by The DeFeo Groupe, formally launched in 2002. The DeFeo Groupe also publishes Sightseers’ Delight, a site dedicated to travel and roadside oddities.
