Remnants of a Derailment in Kingston, Georgia

KINGSTON, Georgia — No one was injured in a mid-February CSX Transportation derailment in Kingston, but the remnants were visible a month later.

The train derailed shortly before 10 a.m. on Feb 17. According to 11 Alive, Bartow County officials said four tank cars and a boxcar derailed.

Kingston is a historic railroad town. It is the former junction between the Western & Atlantic and Rome railroads.
