Investigators Looking at Speed in Deadly Philadelphia Antrak Wreck

Investigators are looking into whether speed played a role in the fatal wreck that left six dead and dozens more injured, CNN reported. The train derailed about 9:30 p.m. just north of Philadelphia. The train was traveling from Washington to New York. “We are deeply saddened by the loss of life from Amtrak Northeast Regional Train 188 that derailed north of Philadelphia Tuesday evening,” Amtrak said in a statement. Hoosier State passenger service running between Indianapolis and Chicago will end on April 1, the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) said Friday.
