The Southeastern Railway Museum in Duluth, Ga., will host steam-powered trips at the museum on a pair of weekends this fall, marking the first time in roughly 15 years that steam trains have operated at the museum.
The expansion will increase the Port of Savannah’s rail lift capacity to 1 million containers per year. GPA estimates that the new intermodal terminal will take more than 200,000 trucks off the road annually.
